My name is Gurpreet Gill and I am currently 18 years old. I graduated from David Thompson Secondary School in June 2012. I am interested in pursuing a career in business, but haven’t decided in what area yet. I work part time at my doctor’s office as a secretary and at toys r us as a cashier. I only work during the summers now because it gets hard to balance school and work at the same time. I used to play soccer on a team but I quit a couple years ago but I still play around with my brothers. In my spare time I like to hang out with my friends or go out and play any sport. I wanted to take Sociology because I have heard that it’s an interesting course and because it gives me another way of understanding society and why people do what they do.
